Remedial Building Solutions were invited to tender on the above project alongside 2 other specially selected contractors to undertake the remedial works at the above property. The building had been neglected for some time and require intricate rectification techniques to building roof, Penthouses x 2 and sub floor/basement.

RBS were awarded the contract on a criteria basis and worked closely alongside Core engineers to come up with numerous strategies in addressing the problems we encountered.

The project had numerous logistical problems given its locality and council requirements and RBS assigned 1 Senior PM, 1 Contracts administrator, 1 Junior PM and a full time site supervisor to ensure the project ran efficiently.

The works consisted of:

  1. Rooftop Waterproofing – Removal and installation double layer torch system
  2. Repair all defects in concrete slab – Concrete spalling rectification
  3. Replace Balcony Waterproofing Membrane – Demolish 140 sqm2 to penthouse balconies and waterproof and tile in accordance with AS 4654,2 – 2009
  4. Supply and install capping to roof parapet wall
  5. Installation of New Roof Drainage
  6. Alterations to driveway ramp
  7. Grated Drain Installation
  8. Basement plumbing and drainage
