"There had been a water penetration problem within our strata building for a period of over twelve years. Despite two Building Inspections and many contractors coming to inspect the problem (ground floor balcony almost constantly wet and frequently flooded and a stalactite forming on the underground garage roof) nobody was inclined to spend the time to trace the source of the problem. Hugo De Jesus and his team at Remedial Building Solutions were the first to show a genuine interest in the problem and agreed that unless solved, the water would eventually cause significant problems with the ground floor concrete slab. After painstakingly examining each balcony and the roof area and testing with water under pressure, the source of the water entry was located and fixed within a fortnight. The balcony which also needed retiling was re-levelled and all this cost less than one previous quote to just retile the balcony without any prior remedial action being undertaken.
